I graduated from Northwestern University in Chicago in 1985 with my BS in Physical Therapy. I came to Sioux Falls and worked at CCHS – EPIC (Evaluation and Planning for Infants and Children) from 1985 until 1990. In 1990, I started working part-time for the Sioux Falls School District. In May, 2004 I resigned from the District and was able to be more available to help my mother-in-law who was ill. I have been the Nursery Supervisor at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church for the past two years. My husband, Tom, works at the EROS Data Center. We have three teen-age children – two daughters at Washington High School, and a son at Patrick Henry Middle School. Our oldest daughter has Down syndrome and a hearing impairment, so in addition to my professional experience, I also have experience parenting a child with special developmental/health needs. I am excited to be joining Theratime! |
